Accounting Intern

Summary

Join Vosyn's Accounting team as a Master's level intern and contribute to a groundbreaking AI project. This full-time (with part-time options) remote internship (with hybrid options in Toronto and Chicago) offers a minimum of 520 hours of experience. You'll gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting processes, working directly with senior management. The internship provides valuable experience in a high-growth environment and enhances your CV with unique experiences. Vosyn offers hourly compensation in equity equivalent to CAD $32-35/hour and additional perks such as priority consideration for future full-time roles.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Master’s level university program in fields such as Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Excel, or similar
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Proficient communication in English (both verbal and written) is required

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements, reports, and analysis for internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliation of accounts
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Help maintain compliance with accounting standards, policies, and regulatory requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial analysis and reporting is a plus
• Excellent presentation and public speaking skills
