Accounts Assistant

Summary

The job is for an Accounts Assistant at Smoothwall, a global child digital safety technology company. The role involves handling accounts tasks, resolving customer queries, and improving processes. Requirements

• Previous experience in a Credit Control/Accounts Assistant position, ideally working with a similar customer base of technology channel partners and education institutions
• Ability to work effectively with individuals at varying levels, both internally and externally

Responsibilities

• Ensure sales invoices are sent to customers in a timely manner
• Ensure cash collections targets are met to enable the business to retain strong cash flow
• Take responsibility for customer queries and follow through to resolution
• Support internal colleagues in resolving any queries and taking the lead in 'query meetings
• Provide suggestions to improve processes to reduce the number of queries received from customers and the amount of overdue debtors
• Process purchase orders and accounts payable transactions
• Process bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations and employee expense claims
• Complete other general accounts-related administrative tasks as required
