Summary

The Accounting Assistant will be responsible for reconciling daily reports, making deposits, keeping track of supplies, vendor information, and ensuring proper operation of electronics. Responsibilities

  • Reconcile cashier daily reports
  • Consolidate reports into one deposit for the Senior Accountant
  • Make note of anything out of the ordinary
  • Ensure all cash sales checks have proper information
  • Reconcile petty cash vouchers
  • Make deposits for Freightliner and vehicle sales
  • Relieve the Cashier/Receptionist
  • Keep track of all manual and computer checks
  • Order new supplies when needed
  • Keep track of company-issued electronics
  • Keep current vendor information and update vendor files
  • Review administrative purchase orders
  • Cut On Demand Checks and checks for the Service & Parts department credits
  • Cross train and back up the accounts payable position
  • Participate in end of the month closing procedures
