Accounts Payable

Summary

Join OFX as an Accounts Payable Intern and assist the Global AP Manager and Accounts Payable team with daily financial tasks related to processing vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. This internship will give you exposure to the end-to-end accounts payable process, offering hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university program studying Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping or accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail and data entry skills
• Familiarity with basic financial software is a plus (experience with Concur and Dynamics 365 is preferred but not required)
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing vendor payments and maintaining accurate records in the Accounts Payable Platform (Concur)
• Help with the resolution of vendor payment queries, both internal and external
• Support the accounts payable team in resolving any invoice or payment-related issues
• Assist with reviewing and reconciling accounts payable balances
• Emailing payment remittances to vendors
• Support the team to post basic journal entries in Dynamics and assist in account reconciliations
• Support month-end financial reporting activities as needed
• Assist with accounts payable-related audit requests
• Participate in reviewing AP processes to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
• Provide general support to the accounts payable team as assigned
