Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred
• Proven experience (2+) years in accounts payable or a similar finance role

Responsibilities

• Process vendor invoices by examining invoices for accuracy and completeness, verifying they match purchase orders and receiving reports
• Ensure proper approvals before processing payments
• Handle employee expense reports as well as process and verify employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies
• Create purchase orders and place orders with vendors as needed
• Perform data entry for accounts payable transactions with precision
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements, ensuring accuracy in our financial records
• Log daily accounting activities related to outgoing funds
• Vendor management: Maintain vendor records and ensure all contact information is accurate and up-to-date
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams regarding accounts payable matters
