Accounts Receivable Analyst

Summary

The job is for an Accounts Receivable Analyst at Automox, a remote company that provides cloud-native IT operations solutions. The role involves preparing invoices, processing customer tickets, analyzing AR aging information, performing cash collection management, maintaining and reviewing contracts, collaborating with the finance department, documenting and maintaining accounting policies, and supporting annual financial audits.

Requirements

• 3+ years of accounts receivable experience
• Solid NetSuite experience and supporting cloud applications (Stripe, SalesForce, ZenDesk, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Prepare invoices for customer deals including new contracts, renewals, expansions, and usage billing with accuracy, consistency, and efficiency
• Process both internal and external customer related tickets from the incoming AR email inbox and communicate with stakeholders to answer questions, resolve issues, disburse invoices/statements, and collect payments
• Analyze AR aging information to identify collection targets, potential refunds, delinquent accounts, and insufficient payments to address billing issues impacting collections
• Perform cash collection management for all customer accounts including daily collections, short payments, and credit memo requests
• Review incoming payments and deposits on a daily basis and apply to customer accounts in an accurate and timely manner
• Maintain and review AR contracts and sales orders to ensure completeness, compliance, accuracy, and alignment with company policies
• Collaborate with the other finance department members to maintain company financial health and accuracy of all receivable transactions
• Help document, implement, and maintain appropriate accounting policies, processes, and internal controls as the company continues to scale
• Support annual financial audit, income tax engagements, and other duties as assigned
