Summary

Join Redpanda, a company building a streaming data platform for developers, as an Account Development Representative (ADR) Manager. You will lead and inspire a team of outbound ADRs to generate qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team. This role requires experience in Open Source software and SaaS business models, outbound sales management, and leading a sales team focused on growing new business. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective outbound prospecting strategies, monitoring and analyzing team performance, collaborating with Sales and Marketing, and establishing a disciplined approach to pipeline generation. Requirements

  • Experience in Open Source software and SaaS business models. Proficiency in Cloud and Infrastructure software is a minimum requirement
  • Experience in outbound sales and management experience with a demonstrated track record of success exceeding quotas selling security, networking, and/or software solutions
  • Experience leading a sales team focused on growing new business and new logos
  • Strong hunter mentality: direct experience managing teams responsible for creating new demand, new customer acquisition, and sourcing new pipeline
  • A winner mindset, someone who holds themselves accountable to consistent over-achievement
  • Strong presentation and communications skills, competent translating technical features into business value
  • Comfortable working in a highly fast-paced environment
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding assigned annual/quarterly goals and targets

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and coach a team of outbound ADRs to achieve key objectives, focusing on building a high-performing team of top talent and fostering their professional growth
  • Develop and implement effective outbound prospecting strategies to generate qualified leads and opportunities for the sales team
  • Monitor and analyze team performance, providing regular feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of targets
  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to build regular sales campaigns and systematically improve lead qualification processes
  • Establish and maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline generation, leveraging all available resources, including field sales, marketing, channel partners, and sales development to accelerate new business
  • Create and manage a process for tracking and analyzing industry trends and segments to create new sources of qualified leads
  • Utilize the CRM system to track activity and manage sales opportunities, ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting
  • Lead by example, demonstrating best practices in outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and opportunity generation
