Summary
Join Reddit's legal team as an experienced commercial lawyer, drafting and negotiating agreements for the ad sales organization. Requirements
- JD, admitted to at least one state bar, strong academic background
- Demonstrated experience on an in-house legal team supporting B2B sales contracting
- Understanding of online advertising, ad tech and advertising sales, especially in the social media context
- Familiarity with and understanding of data privacy regulations, especially in the online advertising context
- A self-starter who is organized, detail-oriented,, enjoys improving processes and who can manage a high volume of deals efficiently
- Collaborative, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Enthusiasm about Reddit as a platform
Responsibilities
- Support and advise multiple senior stakeholders in our online advertising business, including our Ad Sales team, with a focus on efficiency and building relationships
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts with advertisers, advertising agencies, and vendors, including insertion orders, partnership agreements and other ads sales agreements, ad tech agreements, and online terms
- Regularly collaborate closely with experienced attorneys on our Commercial Legal and Ads Product Legal teams
- Foster and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders across our Sales, Ads Product, Business Development, Finance, and other cross-functional teams
- Be the first point of contact for our Ads Sales team’s questions regarding advertising contracts and products
- Provide day-to-day support for the attorneys on our Commercial Legal team
