Summary

Join Sana's clinical team as a virtual Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate) and make a difference in healthcare. Deliver high-quality, mostly asynchronous primary care to patients, managing a fast-paced caseload while maintaining excellent clinical standards. Build strong patient relationships and master our tech platforms. Contribute innovative ideas to improve care protocols and operations. Collaborate effectively with a team focused on improving healthcare access and affordability. This role requires a Texas license, 3+ years of primary care experience, telemedicine experience, and availability during specified clinical hours. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, efficient multitasker, and technically adept individual passionate about improving the healthcare system.

Requirements

  • Licensed in TX (required) with additional state licenses a plus
  • 3+ years of primary care experience (family medicine or internal medicine)
  • Telemedicine experience
  • Available for Sana Care clinical hours: 9am - 5pm CT Monday - Friday
  • Strong clinical judgment and deep commitment to primary care
  • Efficient multitasker who thrives in fast-paced environments
  • Technically adept and innovation-minded
  • Collaborative, low-ego team player. You assume positive intent and meet your teammates with compassionate candor to solve problems together
  • You bring a bias for action paired with intelligent risk-taking
  • Outstanding communication skills in person, over the phone, in writing, via email, chat, carrier pigeon, etc

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality asynchronous care to patients with a >90% 4-5 star satisfaction rating
  • Manage a fast-paced caseload of at least 20 asynchronous cases per day while maintaining excellent clinical standards
  • Build strong patient relationships, achieving >80% engagement with assigned patients over 6 months
  • Master our tech platforms and AI-powered workflows within 4 weeks of onboarding
  • Identify and implement improvements by contributing at least one care protocol or operational idea each quarter
  • Communicate effectively in writing, demonstrating top-tier clinical judgment in asynchronous encounters
  • Collaborate internally and across teams with humility and a low-ego, team-first mindset
  • Adapt and innovate constantly, thriving in a dynamic, fast-changing environment
  • Champion async-first care delivery, helping redefine how primary care can be delivered efficiently and accessibly
