Summary

Join ServiceNow as a Senior Solution Consultant and leverage your passion for technology to help clients transform their businesses. You will act as a functional business consultant, developing and demonstrating product solutions throughout the sales cycle. This role requires collaboration with sales representatives to identify client needs, develop sales strategies, and create long-term roadmaps for the ServiceNow platform. You will guide clients on their strategic journey, utilizing your expertise to solve their challenges and achieve their goals. The ideal candidate possesses strong technology acumen, strategic thinking, and excellent communication skills. Success in this role involves a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of working experience in a (pre-)sales role or in a strategic advisory/consulting role with sales experiences
  • Ability and willingness to develop a deep understanding of the ServiceNow platform, its products for IT, HR, customer service and industry solutions
  • Ability and willingness to drive complex multi-product opportunities based on C-Level narratives (ESM, Digital Transformation and much more)
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and handle functional/ technical conversations with clients
  • Demonstrated experience of ‘getting things done’ in a complex working environment with several stakeholders
  • Willingness to travel
  • Fluency in English and German (min. B2)

Responsibilities

  • Develop, position, and demonstrate product-specific solutions during sales cycles while achieving quarterly and annual sales goals for an assigned territory
  • Identify solutions that solve our clients’ challenges
  • Guide the client on their strategic journey and help realize their goals via the ServiceNow Platform
  • Identify demands within different business functions for our platform – by understanding the life sciences industry, its specific business model and challenges
  • Analyze and discover the value our solution will create for relevant stakeholders at the client in alignment with their business strategies and objectives
  • Prepare, orchestrate and conduct client workshops with the support of our internal product management to show the capabilities and potential of ServiceNow for them
  • Develop sales strategies and approaches that are aligned with the wider account team
  • Determine a storyline that ties our products to value and outcomes for the client
  • Develop a medium- to long-term vision and roadmap for the ServiceNow platform in the client-specific business architecture
  • Act as trusted functional and technical ServiceNow advisor for your clients
  • Prepare and provide answers to functional and technical questions
  • Keep up to date with new product releases and features in order to identify additional up- and cross-sell potential within your client base
  • Benefit from and engage in our local and global solution consulting community to further develop our internal capabilities – with best practices, knowledge exchange and new ideas
  • Share your knowledge and experiences with the wider ServiceNow community of clients and business partners
