Join New Era Technology as an AEM Solution Architect, leading the technical vision and architecture of AEM-based solutions for enterprise clients. You will act as a strategic technology advisor, architecting robust, scalable, and secure digital experience platforms using Adobe Experience Manager. This is a high-impact, hands-on role requiring expertise in AEM Sites, Assets, SPA Editor, and Headless CMS models. The position is a 3-6 month contract (with possible extension), remote, and based in India. You will work with cross-functional teams, guide technology decisions, and provide proactive solution recommendations to clients. Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and development, primarily on AEM
- Expertise in AEM Sites, Assets, SPA Editor, and Headless CMS models
- Strong knowledge of Java, Sling, OSGi, HTL, JCR, Dispatcher, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proficient in frontend frameworks such as React or Angular
- Hands-on experience integrating with REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and cloud services
- Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB; knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Adobe Cloud Manager
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and delivery
- Bachelorโs or Masterโs degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Responsibilities
- Design scalable, secure AEM solutions using Sites, Assets, Headless CMS, and SPA Editor
- Serve as the CMS technology SME; guide clients in leveraging AEM capabilities effectively
- Architect seamless integrations with CRM, DAM, analytics, and marketing tools
- Evaluate other CMS platforms and advise on platform selection when appropriate
- Lead cross-functional development teams and enforce best practices
- Guide technology decisions across frontend and backend stacks
- Participate in complex development/integration tasks and PoCs
- Contribute to reusable frameworks and technical accelerators
- Act as the technical advisor and point of contact for CMS solutions
- Provide proactive solution recommendations to clients
- Stay abreast of AEM and CMS industry trends and innovations
- Architect integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and messaging frameworks
- Optimize performance through Dispatcher tuning, caching, and CDN strategies
- Ensure data consistency, security, and efficient data flow across systems
- Uphold coding standards, architectural governance, and security protocols
- Mentor team members across backend, frontend, and DevOps functions
- Collaborate with stakeholders including developers, analysts, and product owners
- Foster a culture of innovation, quality, and shared success
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Adobe Experience Cloud tools (e.g., Workfront, Target, Analytics)
- Experience with Adobe I/O, GraphQL, and personalization strategies
- Knowledge of other CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Drupal, or Contentful
