Join Cut+Dry, a rapidly growing FoodTech company, as an AI Automation Engineer to spearhead the implementation of AI tools and solutions within our software development. You will play a crucial role in establishing an AI-first approach within the engineering team and enhancing the Cut+Dry product. This position offers the opportunity to design, develop, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions across core product workflows, build and maintain machine learning models, and integrate LLMs and generative AI tools. Collaboration with product managers to identify automation opportunities and ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate possesses 4-8 years of experience in AI/ML engineering and strong proficiency in Python and relevant frameworks.
Requirements
- 4β8 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, automation, or related fields
- Strong proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)
- Experience with LLMs, NLP, and generative AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face)
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps practices
- Experience deploying models in production environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered automation solutions across core product workflows
- Build and maintain machine learning models for tasks such as demand forecasting, order optimization, and anomaly detection
- Integrate LLMs and other generative AI tools to automate customer support, data entry, and reporting
- Collaborate with product managers to identify automation opportunities and define technical requirements
- Optimize performance and scalability of AI systems in production environments
- Monitor and evaluate model performance, retraining and tuning as needed
- Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards
- Document architecture, workflows, and best practices for internal and external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of foodservice or supply chain operations is a plus but not required
Benefits
- Compensation range for this role is between $170K-$210K with 15% annual bonus target
