Summary

Join Sauce, a leading restaurant technology platform, as a dynamic engineer passionate about "vibe coding" and low-code/no-code solutions. You will play a key role in our rapid innovation efforts, prototyping and launching features quickly, and ensuring the long-term reliability of workflows and AI agents. You will master low-code/no-code platforms and tools to develop functional prototypes, integrate with our .NET microservices, and build efficient automated workflows. Your focus will be on speed, agility, and creating a seamless operational experience. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and designers, translating ideas into tangible prototypes and optimizing internal processes. This role requires a proven track record of taking low-code or AI automation into production and maintaining it.

Requirements

  • 3+ years building applications or workflows on low‑code/no‑code platforms and/or AI orchestration frameworks
  • Proven track record taking at least one low‑code or AI automation into production and keeping it running—including monitoring, debugging, and version upgrades in a real company (not freelance trials or demo‑only consulting)
  • Hands‑on ownership of end‑to‑end lifecycle: design → build → deploy → operate at scale (security, observability, rollbacks)
  • Solid grasp of REST/GraphQL APIs, OAuth, webhooks and event‑driven design
  • Comfortable with at least one GenAI stack (OpenAI, Azure, Anthropic, open‑source LLMs) and prompt‑engineering best practices
  • Familiarity with .NET, micro‑services, and cloud (Azure preferred)
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills; ability to move from napkin sketch to deployed solution in days, not weeks
  • Clear communicator able to translate tech jargon into business value
  • Demonstrated portfolio of rapid prototypes / workflow automations built using low-code / no-code approaches
  • Strong understanding of API paradigms and integrations
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
  • A passion for vibe coding and iterative development
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Good understanding of UI/UX principles
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent problem-solving and ability to work around platform limitations
  • Experience with data visualization tools
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Vibe coding leader - embrace and promote a "vibe coding" approach, prioritizing rapid iteration and experimentation, and delivering tangible value quickly
  • Prototype creation - design, develop, and deploy functional prototypes using low-code/no-code platforms to quickly demonstrate new product features and concepts
  • Workflow automation - design, build, and manage automated workflows using platforms like Zapier, N8N, and Maker to streamline internal processes and improve efficiency
  • Platform integration - build and configure seamless integrations between low-code prototyping tools, workflow automation platforms, and our .NET based microservices ecosystem
  • Technology scouting - Scout and evaluate emerging AI or low‑code platforms; run proof‑of‑concepts and present build‑vs‑buy recommendations
  • Team collaboration - work closely with product managers, developers, and designers to translate ideas into tangible prototypes
  • API integrations - build and configure API integrations between low-code platforms and our .NET based microservices ecosystem
  • Feedback iterations - demonstrate and present prototypes and automated workflows to stakeholders and customers for feedback, and iterate rapidly based on insights
  • Development optimization - balance speed of development and automation with considerations for data integrity, security, and maintainability
  • Team empowerment - train and mentor team members on low-code/no-code approaches
  • Documentation - Create clear and concise documentation for prototypes, automated workflows, and development processes

Benefits

  • Flexible work schedules
  • Work from home for better life/work balance
  • Strong Time Off Policy
  • Strong Compensation Package
