Join our expanding team in Puerto Rico as an AI Production Engineer to troubleshoot and create solutions for technical production issues within DataForce data services projects.
Requirements
- Business English language proficiency
- Scripting knowledge in Python or other programming languages
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and reasoning skills
- Ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and make effective decisions
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate important project updates both verbally and in writing
- Adaptability to new challenges and continuous learning
- High-level scripting and programming abilities
- Capability to visualize and present different types of data
- Minimum Bachelorβs degree or its equivalent
- 2 β 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience with REST APIs
- Experience meeting project deliverable dates on tight schedules and within a defined scope
- Experience with Mac and Windows platforms (no certifications needed)
- Experience with API/commands of storage cloud services (like AWS S3, Google Cloud, MS Azure, FTP, Box, etc.)
- Experience working in a multinational/multicultural virtual working environment
- Experience working in a cross-functional/matrix organization
Responsibilities
- Provide daily, project-based technical support to production and sales departments
- Facilitate company-wide technology rollouts
- Assist project managers and external contributors in troubleshooting issues related to the project processes
- Implement automation for asset pre- and post-processing to enhance efficiency
- Develop scripts and/or macros in various programming languages to automate repetitive tasks performed by project managers, optimizing workflow
- Generate various file types as per project requirements, including re-coding and script writing as necessary, ensuring compliance with client specifications and data integrity
- Validate new features in our DataForce technology products
- Work closely with Software Product Managers to report and test fixes for bugs found by product users
- Perform other special projects or duties when required
- Automate asset pre- and post-processing tasks through scripting and macro writing in various programming languages
Preferred Qualifications
- Proficiency in Linux systems
- Knowledge of JSON and XML are highly desired
- Experience creating schemas in JSON
- Knowledge of regular expressions within programming tasks
- Experience as Project Lead on a notable and/or innovative project
- Industry specific development
