Remote Engineering Manager, Product Engineering

Summary

Join 1Password's leadership team as an Engineering Manager for one of three Product Engineering teams: Identity, People and Accounts (Password Manager), Application Insights (XAM), or Authentication Enablement (XAM). As a leader, you will craft the vision and make it a reality through creative engineering and identifying required solutions to hard problems. You will be responsible for tactical execution by the team, helping to coordinate activities such as cycle planning, design reviews, and project planning.

Requirements

• At least 3 years experience in a role where you were responsible for managing a team of software engineers and everything that comes with it
• Significant hands-on development experience (preferably in the app space) and have engineered your way out of many complex, unscoped problems
• Successfully coordinated and delivered large scale projects before that touched multiple areas of the business, product, or underlying architecture
• Ability to create and maintain a positive, healthy team environment in which everyone is supported, encouraged, and meaningfully challenged to do great work
• Enjoy having the freedom and responsibility to make final decisions on most everything for your team
• Capable of driving the delivery of projects, and creating roadmaps for future work
• Effective in cross-functional communication and building strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
