Requirements

• EXPERIENCE - Minimum 1 year of experience in risk management or a related field, including prior experience with analytics
• RESILIENCY - Ability to think creatively and critically, thriving in a fast-paced environment
• CURIOSITY - Eagerness to explore new tools and methodologies to solve real-world problems
• TECHNICAL SKILLS- Strong coding skills in Python, SQL, or other scripting languages
• PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE - Passion for understanding how the product works and the broader context of business decisions
• EDUCATION - Bachelor’s degree in a quantitatively rigorous field such as engineering, statistics, optimization, math, finance, or economics
• INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE - Working knowledge of the fundamentals of payment processing and a basic understanding of risk strategy development

Responsibilities

• Proactively explore opportunities, design, and drive automated merchant onboarding processes
• Partner with merchant growth, engineering, and underwriting teams to develop data-driven strategies
• Establish rules and strategies, and implement solutions using the merchant risk decision platform
• Assist in the development of our model strategy and identify potential gaps
• Build and apply innovative tools and quantitative approaches to solve exciting problems
