Summary

Messari is a leading provider of crypto market intelligence products. The company aims to provide reliable information to help participants make informed decisions in the crypto ecosystem. In the Protocol Services team, Research Analysts offer data-driven research coverage of key crypto networks and protocols, producing reports that highlight important information and insights. They collaborate with network/protocol management and community members, keep up-to-date with developments related to their covered projects, and have a strong affinity for crypto research.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of working experience. Preferably as a Research Analyst/Associate or Data Engineer in either crypto or TradFi with previous exposure to financial statement analysis
• Strong data skills and familiarity with crypto metrics and data sources
• Knowledge of SQL and Python to pull and manipulate data yourself with speed

Responsibilities

• Become the industry authority for the crypto projects under your coverage
• Author research reports including Quarterly Reports, Initiation of Coverage Reports, and other Research Notes
• Lead the end-to-end Quarterly Reporting process from template creation to production of written reports
• Build strong collaboration with network/protocol management and key community members/contributors
• Keep abreast of all developments related to the protocols that you cover through Messari Intel, Twitter, Discord, blogs and other relevant channels

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong communication skills (orally and written), able to articulate your analysis and insights concisely and with clarity in plain English
• You are obsessed with crypto and have practical experience interacting with crypto protocols
• Relentless attention to detail with a strong desire to deliver a high quality data and research product

Benefits

Salary Ranges for this position: $105,000 - $125,000
