Analytics Engineering Advocate

Summary

Join Lightdash as an Analytics Engineering Advocate and become the voice of our community! You will provide in-depth support to users, solving their analytics problems and pairing with them to find solutions. As a Lightdash champion, you'll share your expertise through tutorials, demos, and community engagement. You'll create engaging content, such as documentation, guides, and videos, to educate users on best practices. This role requires experience in business intelligence and analytics engineering, strong communication skills, and proficiency in various tools. Based in the US or Canada, you'll work Eastern Time hours and contribute to a supportive and inclusive team.

Requirements

• Experience with business intelligence and analytics engineering
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to teach and train people on calls and async (videos, docs, etc.)
• Comfortable with dbt, SQL, git, data visualization, and the command line
• Based in US or Canada and able to work Eastern Time hours

Responsibilities

• Obsess over the success of our users: Provide in-depth, personalized answers and pair program with users to solve their analytics problems, pulling in other Lightdash team members when needed
• Be the go-to Lightdash pro at Lightdash and in the community: Keep up with the latest features, use Lightdash regularly, and share this knowledge with the community. Represent the company at community events, conferences, and meetups
• Teach and share: Create and deliver world-class tutorials and demos for Lightdash, as well as examples of best-practice for data analytics. These could be docs, guides, blog posts, video tutorials, or code examples
• Develop and implement strategies to grow and engage the analyst community around Lightdash
