Summary
Join Experian, a global leader in data services, as a Data Analyst II. Leverage data warehousing to uncover user behavior insights and boost product engagement. Maintain and adapt Tableau dashboards, analyze member activity (engagement, acquisition, retention, revenue), and conduct product/marketing performance analyses. Collaborate with BI and Engineering to ensure data quality and present insights to guide business strategy. This fully remote role requires translating business needs into data questions, writing complex SQL queries, and building reports and dashboards. You will collaborate with various teams, including Product, Marketing, UX, and Tech.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in analytical/statistics focused position from an internet environment
- Knowledge of relational database theory and proficient in writing and understanding complex SQL code
- Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Alteryx) and real time dashboard development
- Will understand data, combining large volumes of data and complex questions into clear analyses and applicable findings using quantitative reasoning
- Analytical thinker with the capacity to provide insight into online behaviors, activities and identify opportunities to increase the online experience
- Bachelor's degree in quantitative discipline, e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Economics or related field
Responsibilities
- Leverage data from the warehouse to uncover insights into user behavior and identify opportunities to boost product engagement
- Maintain and adapt Tableau dashboards to evolving business needs
- Analyze member activity—including engagement, acquisition, retention, and revenue—to inform strategic decisions
- Conduct ongoing product and marketing performance analyses, using tools to track customer journeys and improve user experience
- Collaborate with BI and Engineering to resolve data issues and ensure data quality
- Present applicable insights to team members to guide business strategy and investments
- This hands-on role involves translating our needs into data questions, writing complex SQL queries, and building reports and dashboards
