Android Os Engineer

As a Software Engineer, you will develop and maintain system applications and services for an AOSP-based OS, working with a talented team across three continents. Requirements

• Have more than 3 years of experience with C/C++, Python and shell programming languages
• Have experience working with AOSP
• Have good knowledge of Android OS internals
• Have good knowledge of Linux OS
• Have a basic understanding of REST API integration
• Possess a valid EU visa and be based in Portugal

Responsibilities

• Develop system applications and services for an AOSP-based OS
• Develop internal tools to support the production process
• Maintain the OS for multiple devices
• Customize OS to improve patient user experience
• Contribute to build system and release process improvements
• Troubleshoot and debug functional and performance issues
• Write well-designed, efficient, and scalable code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of coding standards and best practices
• Communicate with clients to gather requirements and provide technical support

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience with Radio (Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low-Energy and WIFI)
