Android OS Engineer in Portugal

Summary

Join Sword Health as a developer to create and design new technologies for their AOSP-based OS. Responsibilities include developing applications, maintaining the OS, customizing it for patient experience, and troubleshooting. Requirements are 3+ years of experience with C/C++, Python, shell programming languages, AOSP, good knowledge of Android and Linux OS, and basic understanding of REST API integration. Bonus points for Radio experience.

Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience with C/C++, Python and shell programming languages
• Experience working with AOSP
• Good knowledge of Android OS internals
• Good knowledge of Linux OS
• Basic understanding of REST API integration

Responsibilities

• Develop system applications and services for an AOSP-based OS
• Maintain the OS for multiple devices
• Customize OS to improve patient user experience
• Contribute to build system and release process improvements
• Troubleshoot and debug functional and performance issues

Preferred Qualifications

Bonus Points for experience with Radio (Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low-Energy and WiFi)
