Remote API Engineer

Requirements

• Studies in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
• Strong experience in API development with a focus on backend solutions
• Proficiency in Python and experience with JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with frontend technologies
• Knowledge of DataIQ, Snowflake, and Streamlit is a plus
• Ability to effectively communicate technical challenges and provide regular project updates
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and project management frameworks
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain an API layer that supports multiple applications leveraged by the marketing team for data and analytics
• Build a solution using Python and JavaScript, ensuring scalable and efficient code across multiple applications
• Integrate backend services with existing frontend applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and communication
• Provide clear status updates within the client’s project management framework
• Identify and solve technical challenges, enhancing productivity and collaboration
