Summary

Join Hyperproof's dynamic team as an API Integration Developer and build new integrations using our internal SDK and tools written in TypeScript. Connect, retrieve, and transform data from various third-party APIs, focusing on quality, reliability, and scalability. Collaborate with the Product team to refine integration requirements. Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and efficient; monitor performance and optimize as needed. Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and bugs; develop and maintain automated tests. Contribute to SDK enhancement and continuously improve integration solutions. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a clear and efficient interview process.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience as an API, Integration, or Backend Developer
  • 2+ years of experience building proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript/ TypeScript
  • Professional level of English language proficiency
  • Demonstrated expertise of RESTful APIs and JSON
  • Experience with SQL relational databases and SQL queries
  • Basic knowledge of GraphQL APIs
  • Proven ability to solve complex software engineering and coding problems
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, including cross-functional collaboration
  • Familiarity with Agile software development practices
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git
  • Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Demonstrated focus on quality and thorough testing, including unit testing

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain integrations with third-party services using their web APIs
  • Collaborate closely with our Product team to refine integration requirements based on customer needs and service API capabilities
  • Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, and efficient
  • Monitor integration performance and optimize as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues and bugs
  • Develop and maintain automated tests for integrations
  • Contribute to the enhancement of our SDK, providing valuable feedback and suggestions to improve its functionality and user-friendliness
  • Continuously monitor and enhance our integration solutions and SDK capabilities to meet the needs of the platform and its customers
