APP - Virtual Urgent Care

Summary

Join Oscar Medical Group as a Lead APP in their Virtual Urgent Care team, overseeing patient care and supervising a team of APPs. The role involves delivering care via telemedicine, supporting clinical guideline development, and participating in collaborative projects.

Requirements

• Must have GA, TX, & FL licenses in good standing
• Additional state licenses or willing to be licensed in additional Oscar states, also in good standing
• DNP, FNP, ENP, or PA from accredited program
• Board Certification (NCCPA or AANP or ANCC)
• 5+ years of primary/urgent care experience
• 1+ year Experience delivering care in a community-based / in person setting
• 1+ years experience in supervising teams, including other clinical staff NP and PA supervision
• Prior telehealth experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care via telemedicine (video, phone, messaging) while working with a multidisciplinary team
• Provide supervision to a group of APPs (NPs and PAs) who are delivering care in a virtual environment and provide professional & clinical growth
• Clinical escalation point for the care delivery team as needed (APPs, RNs, MAs)
• Support development of clinical guidelines, continuous improvement of care model, and participate in collaborative projects with Operations and Product team members as a clinical leader
• Be accountable for the quality of care of your patients
• Other duties as assigned
