Application Architect

Summary

Join European Dynamics as an Application Architect and work remotely as an expert. Collaborate with a major client’s IT team on-site. Your responsibilities include architecture and design of information systems, analysis of system integration and data modeling, and coordination of technical architecture implementation. You will also assist in testing, documentation, and deployment, and design and develop software components using modern web frameworks. The ideal candidate will have a university degree in IT and extensive experience in IT, information systems development, and specific technologies like Angular, jQuery, and Bootstrap. Requirements

• University degree in IT combined with a minimum of 13 years of experience in IT
• More than 6 years of experience in the development of information systems
• More than 3 years of experience in Angular, jQuery, and Bootstrap (good knowledge of Kendo UI will be a plus)
• More than 3 years of experience in Agile software development (refactoring, test-driven development, user story modelling)
• Good knowledge of Atlassian tools, such as Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, and Balsamiq as well as Jenkins, Jasmine, and SonarQube
• Good knowledge of modelling and user interface prototyping (mock-up) tools and business process analysis
• Knowledge of interoperability technology such as web services, and REST APIs
• Excellent command of the English language

Responsibilities

• Architecture and design of information systems, review of the architecture of existing systems, and design and development of architectural components and building blocks
• Analysis of the integration of different information systems as well as data analysis and data modelling
• Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture, production of software architecture documents, and participation in technical working groups, progress meetings, and meetings with the users
• Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation, and reporting
• Design and development of software components and building blocks in modern Web 2.0 front-end frameworks (Bootstrap, jQuery, Angular, Kendo UI) together with relevant tests for software components
• Design and implementation of application integration with corporate IAM services for authentication and authorization purposes

Preferred Qualifications

Good knowledge of Kendo UI
