Join HackerOne's Enterprise Data & AI team as a Staff Applications Engineer, Enterprise Systems, and become a technical leader driving the strategy, design, and implementation of AI-First Enterprise Systems. You will own complex, cross-functional initiatives blending enterprise architecture, automation, and AI to streamline operations and unlock human potential. Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in an Engineering, Science, Systems, or similar role w/ proven track record of leading the design, development, and deployment of AI-First Enterprise Systems
- Demonstrated success shaping strategic vision and roadmaps for AI-First Enterprise Systems
- Extensive hands-on experience designing, building, configuring, integrating, and maintaining AI-First Enterprise Systems, including Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Zoom, Ironclad, Box, Monday, Jira, Freshservice, Freshdesk, Workato, GCP, AWS, and more
- Experience working with SSO protocols (e.g., SAML, OIDC, SCIM), enterprise identity tools (e.g., Okta), and MDM platforms (e.g., Kandji) in a fast-paced environment
- Experience developing integrations and automations using tools like Workato
- Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesloft, and data enrichment platforms (e.g., Clearbit, ZoomInfo, etc.)
- Passion for working backwards from the Customer and empathy for business stakeholders
- Proven track record of having substantial impact across the company, demonstrating your ability to drive positive change, and achieve significant results
- Thrive on solving ambiguous problem statements in an early-stage environment
- Excellent communication skills, and can present data-driven narratives in verbal, presentation, and written formats
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design and delivery of scalable, secure, and intelligent enterprise systems that support HackerOneβs transformation into an AI-first organization
- Partner across business and engineering teams to identify high-leverage opportunities for automation, integration, and system modernization
- Drive the architecture and execution of platform-level capabilities, leveraging AI and modern tooling to reduce manual effort, improve decision-making, and increase system resilience
- Provide technical leadership to internal engineers and external development partners, ensuring design quality, operational excellence, and long-term maintainability
- Shape and contribute to our incident and on-call response strategy, playbooks, and processes, focusing on building systems that fail gracefully and recover quickly
- Act as a multiplier to mentor other engineers, advocate for technical excellence, and promote a culture of innovation, curiosity, and continuous improvement
- Champion effective change management and enablement, ensuring systems are not only launched, but adopted, understood, and evolved
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Mac and Windows operating systems
- Experience working with Agile and iterative development processes
- Understanding of network architecture
