Requirements
- Knowledge and experience of products to key merchants, domestic installers and relevant house builders
- At least 12 months of successful track record, including major project and account management
- Demonstrated ability to develop long-term relationships with both customers and colleagues
- Self-motivated, dynamic, and driven
- Confident working independently
- Presentable, credible, and reliable
- Possession of a driving license and ability to commute within the patch (home-based role)
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate commercial drive and passion, taking full responsibility for your sales and profitability budget
- Own and implement your business plan
- Work with colleagues to identify new business opportunities
- Collaborate with other business functions and work closely with the commercial sales team and internal sales developers to secure new business
- Plan your time effectively based on market trends and competitor activity
- Work closely with your Divisional Trading Manager to formulate plans
- Establish regular business reviews with identified merchant branches in the area
- Encourage mutually profitable working relationships through lead sharing, training, and joint initiatives to increase direct-to-site sales and commitment for a full range of domestic products stocked in yard
- Challenge expectations and showcase entrepreneurial skills
