Area Sales Manager

Summary

The job is for a Southern Area Sales Manager in a growing family-run business selling mid-high end innovative, technical healthcare products. The role involves ongoing account development, seeking out new business opportunities, maintaining relationships with existing customers, and increasing business opportunities through various routes to market.

Requirements

• Previous proven B2B sales experience
• A strong relationship builder and solution seller
• Be target driven, organised and maintain a meticulous in-depth knowledge of products and services provided
• Have the analytical skills to identify customer needs and propose solutions of benefit to the customer
• Excellent customer service skills, being well-spoken and articulate with a professional telephone manner
• A high degree of self-motivation and ambition
• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Willingness to cover a large territory (although overnight stays are expected to be minimal)

Responsibilities

• Maintain existing sales and achieve sales growth of company products through new business development
• Demonstrate excellent technical/product knowledge of the company's products
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers in person, face-to-face visits, via video calls, telephone calls and emails
• Guide prospects through the Sales Funnel, consistently bringing new customers on board
• Support existing customers by keeping regular contact with them, ensuring they are updated with developments, their needs are catered for

Benefits

• ��45,000 - £60,000 basic salary negotiable DOE
• Uncapped bonus commission (realistic OTE is 75K +++)
