Summary

Join our team as a part-time, remote AS400 Developer! You will develop, analyze, and maintain AS400 applications, integrating them with other systems. This role requires strong AS400 expertise, including RPG, CL, and DB2. You'll collaborate with internal teams and provide technical support. We seek a motivated, self-starter capable of independent and collaborative work. The position offers 100% remote work from Latin America with USD payments and additional benefits.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AS400 Developer with a strong understanding of IBM iSeries systems
• Experience with RPG, CL, DB2, and other AS400 technologies
• Ability to develop, modify, and troubleshoot AS400 applications
• Experience in system integrations and ensuring seamless interaction between AS400 and other platforms
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time remote work setting
• Strong communication skills in English (C1) for collaborating with international teams
• Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing requirements and new technologies

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance AS400 applications, ensuring high performance and reliability
• Analyze and resolve issues within existing AS400 applications, providing recommendations for improvements
• Work on system integrations, ensuring that AS400 applications can interact with other platforms and technologies
• Collaborate with internal teams to design and implement new features and functionalities
• Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving application-related issues in a timely manner
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal stakeholders as needed
• Ensure that all development work adheres to best practices, industry standards, and company guidelines
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality and consistency across projects

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with system migrations and transitioning legacy applications to modern platforms
• Familiarity with cloud environments and integrating AS400 with cloud technologies
