Requirements

• Master’s or higher degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field
• 2 years of assessment writing experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for applying data-driven approaches to real-world problems
• Ability to work independently and adhere to deadlines

Responsibilities

• Create assessment questions encompassing various question types and difficulty levels that are reflective of the given Mathematical and Statistical concepts and their practical applications in professional financial and trading settings
• Ensure the assessment can be used as a tool to evaluate the job candidates’ skills, knowledge, and abilities. Assessment results should indicate a candidate’s ability to succeed in the job
• Ensure all questions align with the specific job requirements, client goals, and Correlation One’s content quality principles
• Ensure all questions are clear, answerable, have reasonable distractors if multiple choice, and are accurate. Provide step-by-step solutions to each question
• Iteratively refine assessments based on constructive feedback, ensuring a continuous improvement cycle and maintaining a high standard of quality and relevance
• Review and provide feedback on questions not authored by you
• Uphold exceptional communication throughout the duration of the project, providing regular updates on your work

Preferred Qualifications

• [preferred] Over 3 years of industry experience in the quantitative trading, quantitative research, or finance sector in a data-oriented role, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of the respective industry's operations and challenges
• Proficiency in one (or both) of the following domains: Mathematics or Data Science

Benefits

Compensation varies depending on the type and complexity of the question. An estimated flat rate per question is $50-100. Payments are processed upon client approval
