Assistant Controller

Summary

Bitcoin Depot is seeking an Assistant Controller to manage all aspects of the general ledger and monthly accounting close process. The ideal candidate will have experience in an assistant controller role within a public company and strong data analysis skills. They will be responsible for leading the team in charge of monthly reporting, performing financial analysis, driving changes in the accounting process, and supporting the CFO on M&A activity. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an assistant controller role within a public company and 7+ years of overall experience
• Management experience
• Drive process changes and improvements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Data analysis experience
• Basic level of cryptocurrency knowledge

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the team in charge of the monthly accounting and reporting
• Perform analysis of financial and operational results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Develop and drive changes in the accounting and close process
• Support the CFO on M&A activity as needed

• Experience with financial reporting

• Strong financial modeling skills to support ad-hoc requests
