Summary

The Assistant Controller role at Endpoint Clinical is a hands-on, technical accounting position that requires a growth mindset and leadership skills. The candidate will oversee the company's accounting operations, lead a global team, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. A Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance or Accounting is required, with 5+ years of public accounting experience or industry experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Finance or Accounting will be required. Relevant and equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements
  • Active CPA license is highly preferred
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience or industry experience
  • Hands-on experience with ASC606, ASC 842 and ASC350
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to work with lookups, pivot tables, and if-then functions
  • Experience with NetSuite implementation, Bill.com , Expensify and Salesforce preferred, but not required
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger (GL), inventory, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, software capitalization, debt, and equity
  • Oversee, support, and develop the global accounting team while driving efficiency and automation to meet the demands of our high-growth business
  • Lead accurate and timely month-end close and reporting processes, including consolidation, FX revaluation, and translation
  • Serve as the technical accounting expert; oversee the development and adoption of accounting policies and processes to ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards and regulations, such as US GAAP, local, and international regulatory requirements
  • Lead the annual external audit and international statutory audit processes
  • Streamline and optimize financial processes, leveraging technology and best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy
