Assistant Controller

Summary

Join Bitcoin Depot as an Assistant Controller to lead the accounting team, drive growth and process improvement, and contribute at both hands-on and strategic levels. This remote role will be a valuable strategic leader for the company.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Minimum of 3 years experience in an assistant controller role within a public company and 7+ years of overall experience
• Management experience
• Drive process changes and improvements
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Data analysis experience
• Basic level of cryptocurrency knowledge

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading the team in charge of the monthly accounting and reporting
• Perform analysis of financial and operational results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
• Develop and drive changes in the accounting and close process
• Support the CFO on M&A activity as needed
• Adhere to stringent public company deadlines and varying workloads on the finance department
• Identify opportunities to drive efficiencies and improve existing models and templates
• Set direction for multiple direct reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with financial reporting
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong financial modeling skills to support ad-hoc requests
• Drive to meet commitments/deadlines
• Ability to apply good judgment to business planning and annual planning processes
• Strong business partnering/team building skills
• Assertive, Initiative, positive attitude, self-starter, gets-things-done attitude
• Strong personal computing skills
