Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Accounting or Finance
- 8+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in audit at a Big 4 or similar firm
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 revenue recognition
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite or Intacct preferred) and a proven ability to design, implement, and optimize financial processes, policies, and controls
- A collaborative leader with strong coaching and mentorship skills that can foster a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Strong project management skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills, including financial modeling and data analysis on large data sets
Responsibilities
- Oversee the monthly close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Support the ERP implementation project, including process design and documentation
- Establish and document accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Identify and lead process improvement initiatives for automation and efficiency
- Help spearhead the finance transformation initiatives leading up to future IPO/investor readiness
- Own the Order-to-Cash process ensuring accuracy, compliance with ASC 606, and alignment with company policies
- Collaborate with GTM teams to understand new revenue streams and ensure proper accounting treatment
- Assist in treasury management, including cash flow forecasting and optimizing cash utilization
- Supervise and mentor accounting team members
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with US GAAP
- Collaborate with external auditors to support the annual financial statement audit and ensure timely and accurate completion
- Establish, document and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance and support scalability
- Support tax preparation and filings in collaboration with external advisors
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA
- Experience at a high-growth SaaS or technology company
- Pre- and post-IPO experience is a strong plus, with a focus on uplifting processes and building net new activities, automation, and process improvement
Benefits
- $185,000 - $200,000 a year
- 10% Annual Performance Bonus
