Summary

Job Description: An Assistant Controller is needed at Signature Analytics, a growing firm offering fractional accounting and business advisory solutions. Requirements

  • 6-8 years of accounting experience
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (or equivalent)

Responsibilities

  • Analyze challenges, break them down into manageable components, and develop strategies to address them
  • Convey ideas, strategies, and findings in a clear and concise manner to clients, teams, and stakeholders
  • Define project or engagement objectives, manage timelines and resources, and ensure successful outcomes
  • Guide and motivate team members, manage conflicts, and foster a collaborative environment
  • Exhibit professionalism, confidence, and poise in various settings to build trust in the client relationship
  • Provide insights that align with client objectives and long-term goals
  • Adapt quickly to new situations, prioritize, and communicate proactively
  • Manage and mentor junior team members
  • Balance own tasks with overseeing others' work, providing guidance, quality control, and ensuring team cohesion
  • Demonstrate the impact of recommendations and solutions, effectively measure outcomes, and link them to client success
  • Update internal systems, develop forecasts of effort, track budgets, submit daily time tracking, and act as the key administrator on client engagements

Preferred Qualifications

  • Client service experience, preferred
  • Mix of public and private accounting experience preferred
