Summary

Join FINN, a fast-growing scale-up driving change in mobility, as an Associate Backend Engineer. You will build integrations with partners, internal tools for fleet managers, and customer-facing solutions, ensuring a seamless customer experience and highly scalable processes. The role involves simplifying, automating, and optimizing processes using no-code tools and solid code implementation. You will also build features, take ownership of testing and deployment, and share your technical expertise within the backend team. Requirements

  • Experience in software engineering with a hands-on mindset
  • Experience with Javascript and Typescript
  • Previous experience in an agile development team
  • Strong growth mind-set and the motivation to continuously improve self and team performance
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities

  • Do it, do it, automate it : Simplify, automate and optimize processes that are currently carried out manually using no-code tools as Make or Retool (20%) and solid hard code implementation (80%)
  • You build it, you run it : Build features and take ownership for testing, deployment and monitoring of your code. Yes, we believe in Serverless!
  • Share your technical expertise : Play a driving technical role in the Backend team. You will be able to share your technical knowledge and engineering best practices, as well as shape technical discussions to deliver the best possible solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge in SQL, Docker and building HTTP APIs or with serverless applications is a plus
  • Experience with Git and traditional PR review processes is a plus
