Summary

Join DAZN's Fanzone team as a Community Manager, engaging with fans before, during, and after international sports events. This 10-15 hour per week, 90-day contract requires Spanish and English fluency and in-depth knowledge of relevant sports. Responsibilities include content creation, community management across various platforms, and reporting on KPIs. You must be located in Spain and possess strong communication, problem-solving, and social media skills. Active experience with Discord, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram is required. Pay rates vary and will be discussed during the interview process.

Requirements

  • Be a proactive, self-starter and independent contributor with follow-through on all initiatives
  • Have strong problem-solving, creative writing, and editorial skills
  • Showcase strong communication skills (and feel comfortable with communicating the good and the bad)
  • Engage confidently with internal and external partners on video and voice calls
  • Be genuinely interested in social media (tools, platforms, usage), and enjoy the trends and culture of social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, ect)
  • Enjoy engaging and developing a broad range of people, communities, clients, and trends
  • Be able to execute on community initiatives, measure results, and modify programs based on feedback
  • Retain and demonstrate excellent organization and time-management skills and schedule to hit deliverable deadlines
  • Must have active experience (professional experience preferred) with Discord, forums, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram (other platforms like SnapChat, TikTok, Twitch.tv , Youtube, etc a bonus)
  • Be a creative copywriter who understands the balance between professionalism and meta, fun community initiatives
  • The position requires excellent verbal and written skills, someone who is excited about social media and content creation, and has the ability to communicate, collaborate, and support effectively
  • Must be able to show empathy and situational awareness, as well as an ability to care for the community’s members well being without losing sight of the client goals and rules
  • Must be located in Spain
  • English/Spanish Language
  • Commitment: 10-15 hours per week, 90 days

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm activities, opportunities, and content to inspire or grow the community (long term and campaign-based)
  • Design and execute the weekly and quarterly content calendars and strategy plans
  • Create and report KPIs, and build reports that showcase reason, trends, and opportunity
  • Manage and respond to customers through forums and website tools
  • Learn and explore new toolsets that improve workflow and client objectives
  • Work closely, efficiently, and effectively with the client and internal teams (communication is daily)
  • Develop practices and improvements, or build upon and help improve current methods of operation
  • Handle occasional community crisis or troubleshoot escalations

Preferred Qualifications

Active experience with SnapChat, TikTok, Twitch.tv, Youtube
