Summary

Join Accretive Technology Group as an Associate Compliance Counsel and help uphold ethical and corporate standards. Work remotely from various US locations, contributing to a team ensuring compliance across ATG's products and business partners. Responsibilities include identifying, managing, and mitigating compliance risks, ensuring compliance with financial partner regulations, and collaborating on new compliance programs and policies. The ideal candidate will possess a JD or equivalent, 7+ years of AML experience, superior communication skills, and a strong understanding of corporate, contract, and banking law. Requirements

  • 7+ years of demonstrated industry experience regarding AML is a requirement
  • Superior written and verbal communication and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while still meeting deadlines for deliverables
  • Strong understanding of corporate law, contract law, banking law, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and international teams
  • High level of integrity, professionalism and judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information

Responsibilities

  • Help uphold our ethical and corporate standards and serve as a fundamental part of our team
  • Help the team identify, manage, and mitigate compliance risk in support of our US and international business units
  • Help the team ensure compliance with the rules and regulations of our financial partners by demonstrating familiarity with BSA, AML – both US-based and international requirements, card brand requirements, and the Digital Services Act
  • Be able to work well in a collaborative environment with minimal structure and be comfortable in changing environments with competing priorities
  • Possess solid business acumen, natural curiosity, and the ability to shift effectively between communication styles based upon the audience
  • Collaborate on new programs, policies and procedures to ensure compliance across the platform and the company
  • Partner with development teams to ensure that products are developed in ways that are compliant with relevant regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • JD or equivalent with current bar license is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Products, AML Insight and HighQ is preferred
