Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Docker, assisting in setting up clusters
  • Experience building Gitlab CI/CD pipeline templates and jobs
  • Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., shell scripting, Python, or other scripting languages)
  • Implement and improve development and security best practices by building necessary CICD pipeline jobs (Linting, SCA, SAST, Vulnerability scanning)
  • Proven experience in software systems development via CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure in Agile, DevOps and DevSecOps methodologies, practices, and culture
  • Problem solving aptitude
  • Experience with designing and implementing enterprise-grade, scalable cloud-based services to support our development teams
  • Experience with Log Management and Analytics tools such as PLG/Splunk/ELK
  • Experience with building, deployment, release automation, or orchestration
  • Experience writing Unit/Integration/e2e testing (e.g., Junit, Cypress, Selenium)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, etc.)
  • Obtain Security+ within the first 90 days of employment with Raft

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of end-to-end cluster and application lifecycles
  • Coordinate with clients, helping in designing and setting up Kubernetes or Docker solutions based on their requirements
  • Participate in the construction of CI/CD pipelines, facilitating the timely and consistent delivery of software

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with implementing Sigstore and Cosign to sign container images as well as SBOMs
  • Experience with hardening application containers
  • Proven experience with Istio service mesh
  • Certifications such as CKA, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
