Summary
Join Qoria, a global leader in child digital safety technology, as an Associate Education Monitoring Analyst. You will be part of the Customer Success team, reviewing online student activity in the UK, USA, and Australia to identify and address safeguarding risks. This role requires a keen eye for detail, understanding of online youth culture, and quick decision-making skills. The position involves collaborating with colleagues, escalating concerns to supervisors, and contacting school Designated Safeguarding Leads. Based in the UK, this role offers a chance to make a real difference in protecting children online. The initial six weeks will involve training during standard business hours, after which the shift will be overnight.
Requirements
- A good understanding of English
- Very IT literate with a good knowledge of social media, online games & apps used by young people
- Familiarity with online culture and norms
- Quick decision-making skills
- An ability to remain calm and empathetic when under pressure or dealing with difficult situations
- A strong work ethic and ability to stay focused for extended periods
- Excellent customer, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal, literacy, numeracy)
- Strong team player with the ability to work on own initiatives with creative ability to solve problems
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Responsibilities
- Reviewing content flagged as requiring human moderation to assess category and risk levels
- Providing human insight and quality assurance to automated assessments of safeguarding content
- Collaborating with colleagues as necessary to resolve content reviews as a team where necessary
- Escalating reviews to supervisors when deemed necessary
- Calling school Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) when required to advise of high-risk activity
- Providing proactive feedback on any emerging trends
- Working in a fast paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous web / content moderating experience
- Previous experience of working with vulnerable situations
- Passion about helping keep our users safe
- A strong team player
- Focussed on a culture of continuous improvement
- High attention to detail while meeting quality and productivity goals
