Summary

Join Mosaic as an Associate Financial Consultant and leverage your finance and accounting expertise to build financial models and dashboards for our customers using our powerful software. You will automate FP&A workflows, analyze customer models, and present solutions. This role is consultative and requires cross-functional collaboration. You'll gain exposure to diverse business models and contribute to product development. This is an early-stage opportunity within a rapidly growing SaaS company.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of professional experience working in financial consulting, finance, accounting, investment banking, or a related field
  • Exceptional analytical skills, including financial modeling and in-depth analysis (modeling exercise will be part of the interview process)
  • Understand the interrelationship between the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and takes full ownership of responsibilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to conversations even with limited experience
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently
  • Quick learner with a strong drive to grow and succeed
  • Comfortable navigating challenging or unfamiliar situations
  • Thoughtful and inquisitive, always seeking to understand the purpose behind tasks
  • Open communicator who knows when to ask for guidance and updates frequently
  • Previous experience demonstrating autonomy and accountability in their role

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with financial model and dashboard creation using the Mosaic Planning and Analytics solution, including multiple budget scenarios, headcount planning, department-level expense forecasting, and other key features
  • Gain exposure to complex models across various industries, business models, and company sizes
  • Be among the first of many on the Customer Success team and collaborate directly with leadership to establish best practices and implement operational efficiencies to scale the department
  • Spearhead and influence future product development by serving as the voice of the customer and sharing/prioritizing feedback with the Product team to decide what we build and when
  • Collaborate closely with various teams, including Support, Data Operations, Product, Engineering, Sales, & Marketing to ensure world-class customer satisfaction

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Enterprise SaaS business models
  • Experience working in a start-up environment
  • Experience juggling multiple clients or projects at one time
  • Experience working with ERP, CRM, Billing & HRIS systems
  • Basic understanding of Data languages including SQL
