Associate Frontend Software Engineer

Summary

Join Belvo, an open finance API platform democratizing financial services in Latin America, and help develop web applications, UI components, and libraries for our frontend products. Assist in supporting customers interacting with the banking ecosystem and contribute to making our projects more reliable, scalable, secure, and well-documented. Work on client-facing features, including SDKs integrating with third-party applications, and collaborate with other engineers to solve development challenges. This role requires 1+ year of experience building scalable web applications using JavaScript or TypeScript, familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks, and a passion for user experience. Requirements

• 1+ year(s) of experience building scalable Web applications, and tools using JavaScript or Typescript
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React
• A combined passion for great user experience and eagerness to learn
• Empathy, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to work effectively with a team
• A desire to work closely with developers who depend on your libraries to deliver customer value

Responsibilities

• Help develop web applications, UI components, and libraries for our frontend products
• Assist in supporting customers as they interact with the banking ecosystem
• Contribute to making our projects more reliable, scalable, secure, and well-documented
• Work on client-facing features, including SDKs that integrate with third-party applications
• Participate in discussions about UX/UI and provide input on client-facing features
• Collaborate with other engineers to identify and solve development challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in Fintech
• Previous experience with Vuejs
