Associate Mechanical Engineer

Summary

Requirements

• BSME required; MSME a plus
• 1+ years of internship or professional hands-on mechanical design experience with increasing design/project responsibility
• Proficiency with general ME CAD tools: SolidWorks, NX, Pro/E, or Creo
• Experience with Python
• Flexibility and drive to deal with ambiguity and fast-paced work environments
• Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations
• Must possess a valid U.S. Driver’s License
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Background checks are required

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to improve speed to market and work with AC’s engineering teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Adept at generating test plans, running tests, and collecting data
• Good understanding of basic mechanics and machine design
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with and a desire to gain expertise in automation or product development processes from concept to production
• Experience with and a desire to gain expertise in designing injection molded, MIM, and sheet metal parts
