Summary

The job is for an Associate in Clear Street's Clearing / Purchase and Sale team. The role involves ensuring reporting accuracy, optimizing company operations, and performing daily reconciliations. The candidate should have at least two years of professional experience in clearing listed options, proficiency in OCC applications, Series 4 and 7 preferred, strong communication skills, proficiency in Excel, and enjoys increasing efficiency by utilizing technology.

Requirements

• At least two (2) years of professional experience in clearing listed options
• Proficiency in OCC applications
• Strong Communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel

Responsibilities

• Ensure reporting accuracy
• Contribute to the consistent optimization of our company
• Own the timely booking of trades
• Balance versus the Clearing Houses & processing Exercise Instructions
• Communicate with external brokers and clients as well as internal traders and team members to support timely settlement and accuracy of books and records
• Perform daily reconciliations
• Monitor & resolve exceptions & rejects in trade flows & postings
• Balance internal positions versus the OCC
• Process & balance Exercise & contrary instructions
• Contribute to process improvement and the general operation of the team

Preferred Qualifications

• Series 4 and 7 preferred
• Enjoys increasing efficiency by utilizing technology
