Associate QA Engineer

Summary

Join LastPass as an Associate QA Engineer and contribute to the verification and validation of development items for our Android mobile application. You will create and execute manual tests, participate in the release process, and collaborate closely with a Scrum team. Requirements

• Understanding of general software development processes
• Basic knowledge of mobile software architecture
• Familiarity with testing fundamentals, including various test types, testing levels, and a high-level understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Keen attention to detail
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and practices
• A strong quality mindset and passion for delivering reliable software

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including Product Managers, UX Designers, QA engineers, and developers
• Perform verification and validation of mobile features and updates
• Participate in release validation activities to ensure high-quality deployments
• Analyze requirements to ensure testability and completeness
• Design and maintain effective test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements
• Execute scripted tests and document results
• Conduct exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues and edge cases

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a QA, development, or other role within the software industry
• ISTQB certification or other relevant QA-related certifications
