Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in communications, PR, social media management, or digital marketing

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of communication plans and strategies to promote Oscarโ€™s initiatives and lines of business
  • Create high-quality, journalistic content, including longform features and shortform visual and video content, for various channels including blog, social media, and website
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Oscar's social media presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and X, while also identifying and cultivating opportunities on emerging channels to enhance Oscar's digital reach
  • Foster and maintain active engagement within Oscar's online communities by initiating and participating in conversations, responding to inquiries, and addressing concerns in a timely and professional manner
  • Partner with Oscar's Brand team to develop compelling visual assets that enhance storytelling and social media posts, ensuring consistency with brand standards
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in social media and digital marketing; integrate new tools and platforms as appropriate
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency, in-house, healthcare (or other regulated industry)
  • Public company experience preferred
