Associate Staff Engineer

This role requires expertise in database development (SQL, stored procedures, etc.), building data pipelines using Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Data Bricks, and strong knowledge of data warehousing and ETL best practices. You will design ETL unit test cases, debug mappings, and create documentation. Experience with Agile methodologies and excellent communication skills are essential. We offer a non-hierarchical work culture.

Requirements

Have Must have Skills : SQL Server Integration Services, Azure Synapse

Responsibilities

• Be an expert in Database development (SQL queries, Stored procedures, views, indexes etc)
• Be an expert in building data pipelines using Azure Synapse , Azure Data factory and Azure Data Bricks
• Have good Exposure in creating Notebooks in Azure synapse for ingesting , analyzing and building data pipelines
• Be an expert in data integration (ETL) best practices and techniques
• Demonstrate sound knowledge of Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake schema) and solution designing concepts
• Show good understanding of relational structures, dimensional data modelling
• Demonstrate Understanding of common ETL tools preferably SSIS
• Design ETL unit test cases and debug ETL Mappings
• Show familiarity with Data Governance concepts and tools (e.g. Data Quality tools, Master Data Management Tools)
• Create documentation for general and custom purposes
• Show Exposure to Agile (Scrum) development practices
• Have good analytical ability
• Have Good written & verbal communication skills
