You will leverage your 5+ years of experience to manage critical incidents, resolve HCM/Compensation issues, and configure Workday Compensation modules. Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of experience
  • Possess Workday Compensation skills
  • Be proficient in managing critical incidents related to compensation and its associated concepts and skilled in resolving HCM/Compensation issues by devising calculation logics aligned with business needs
  • Be knowledgeable in HCM topics, with a focus on compensation, hire to retire business processes, supervisory organization setups, and related modules
  • Be proficient in EIB loads and data conversion processes and skilled in addressing business process issues, including configuring documents, creating text blocks/BIRT, notifications, alerts, and Dashboards with experience in handling Compensation configuration issues effectively and familiarity with reporting techniques, including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports, with a focus on compensation/HCM reporting
  • Have knowledge of high-quality professional software engineering practices for agile software development cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment
  • Possess fundamental knowledge of design patterns
  • Have experience in communicating effectively with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
  • Be passionate about building great solutions
  • Be able to mentor the team members to meet the client's needs and hold them accountable for high standards of delivery
  • Be able to understand and relate technology integration scenarios and be able to apply these learnings in complex troubleshooting scenarios
  • Have a Bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Write and review great quality code
  • Understand functional requirements thoroughly and analyze the clientโ€™s needs in the context of the project
  • Envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and be able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it
  • Determine and implement design methodologies and tool sets
  • Enable application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities
  • Be able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs
  • Create, understand, and validate WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
  • Address issues promptly, respond positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Give constructive feedback to the team members and set clear expectations
  • Help the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
  • Come up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and be able to justify the decision taken
