Summary

Join Nagarro, a rapidly growing Digital Product Engineering company, as a Workday Absence and Time Tracking Consultant. You will leverage your 5+ years of experience in Workday Absence & Time, both hands-on and strategically, to implement and manage absence and time tracking systems. Your responsibilities include writing and reviewing high-quality code, understanding client needs, and envisioning comprehensive solutions. You will also lead UAT and production rollouts, mentor team members, and troubleshoot complex issues. A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field is required. Global Time Tracking and Absence experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • Have 5+ years of experience
  • Possess Workday Absence and Time Tracking Consultant skills
  • Have experience with Workday Absence & Time both hands on & from a Strategic standpoint with workday Time Tracking and Absence implementation experience
  • Have knowledge in Absence Plans, Time Entry Templates, Time Calculations, Time Entry Codes, Eligibility Rules, Accrual Calculations, Business Processes, Custom Reports, Calculated Fields, and EIBs
  • Have knowledge of high-quality professional software engineering practices for agile software development cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment
  • Possess fundamental knowledge of design patterns
  • Have experience in communicating effectively with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
  • Be passionate about building great solutions
  • Mentor team members to meet the client's needs and hold them accountable for high standards of delivery
  • Be able to understand and relate technology integration scenarios and be able to apply these learnings in complex troubleshooting scenarios
  • Hold a Bachelorโ€™s or masterโ€™s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Write and review great quality code
  • Understand functional requirements thoroughly and analyze the clientโ€™s needs in the context of the project
  • Envision the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and be able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it
  • Determine and implement design methodologies and tool sets
  • Enable application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities
  • Be able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs
  • Create, understand, and validate WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and be able to justify it
  • Address issues promptly, respond positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Give constructive feedback to the team members and set clear expectations
  • Help the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs
  • Come up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and be able to justify the decision taken
  • Carry out POCs to make sure that suggested design/technologies meet the requirements

Preferred Qualifications

Have Knowledge with Global Time Tracking and Absence experience
