Join MissionWired's Direct Mail Team as an Associate Vice President! Provide strategic leadership to nonprofits and Democratic organizations, developing and implementing comprehensive direct marketing fundraising strategies. You will oversee client relationships, ensuring exceptional service. This role requires a creative, data-driven approach, strategic planning and execution of offline fundraising initiatives, collaboration with cross-functional teams, budget management, performance analysis, and staying updated on industry trends. Requirements

  • 10+ years of direct response fundraising experience in an agency environment
  • Proficiency in communication and writing, demonstrating excellence in both areas
  • Substantial background in devising long-term strategies, seamlessly transitioning from high-level strategic planning to hands-on execution, and effectively steering account management
  • Proven self-starter with the ability to efficiently manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to dynamic requirements and deadlines
  • Adaptable to excelling in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines
  • Dedicated to achieving results while maintaining a collaborative team-oriented approach
  • Eager inclination to learn and continuously develop professionally
  • Strong Excel experience
  • Previous people management experience

Responsibilities

  • Identify donor segments for direct mail campaigns, finding new opportunities to segment and engage donors for maximum impact
  • Bring a creative, data-driven approach to existing and new fundraising direct mail strategies, with a focus on revenue results
  • Lead the strategic planning and execution of offline fundraising initiatives for MissionWired clients; including primarily direct mail but may also include telemarketing
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling and targeted direct mail fundraising campaigns
  • Develop and manage fundraising budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources
  • Analyze fundraising performance metrics and implement strategies for continuous improvement
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, incorporating innovative approaches into fundraising efforts
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders (internal/external)
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the fundraising team, fostering professional growth and development

Preferred Qualifications

*Supporting your team on some nights and weekends as we approach high-volume times such as elections may be required
