Assurance Intern

Summary

Requirements

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics (BS/BA/MSA/MST/Certificate Program) and graduating between 12/1/2025 – 8/1/2026
• Demonstrated interest in pursuing or obtaining CPA (Certified Public Accountant) Educational Licensure Requirements
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to start on January 9, 2025. and work part time in one of our BPM California offices: Irvine, Long Beach, Menlo Park, Sacramento, San Francisco, San Jose, Santa Monica, Santa Rosa, Stockton or Walnut Creek

Responsibilities

• Receive comprehensive Assurance training from our Learning & Development team and key Assurance leaders who will teach you how to analyze financial statements and related disclosures to identify any material misstatements or discrepancies
• Learn and perform audit procedures to assess the accuracy and completeness of financial statements
• Assist in evaluating and testing the effectiveness of internal control systems implemented by clients, working hand in hand with team members to deliver a quality product within the client’s time-frame
• Engage in regional intern events, executive speaker sessions with firm partners, and collaborate with fellow interns on a project to showcase acquired knowledge and skills
